A stay in one of our three stunning holiday cottages is a treat for the soul, whether you’re inside or out. All of our properties are close to Kielder and surrounded by beautiful countryside and nature.

Stunning views by day, crystal clear skies by night

Surrounded by tranquil countryside and beneath pristine night skies, our holiday cottages are the perfect base to escape and explore. All three of our cottages are either within or very close to Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, and are a short drive from Kielder Observatory. The surrounding area is ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities including walking, cycling, bird watching, watersports and fishing.

"We spent a few very comfortable days at Lake View Cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The views were amazing and it's so quiet and dark there - ideal for star gazing! The beds were comfy and had the most amazing fleecy cosy bedding! There's plenty of space for a family of four. Simon and Zena were amazing hosts who left the most thoughtful welcome gift. They were also very kind to provide some fire lighters and coal when we struggled to keep the fire alight (we are inexperienced). It's right on the edge of the forest with some wonderful walks in the most magical moss floored forest. I'd definitely recommend a stay in this wonderful cottage!"

"What a wonderful cottage. Warm and inviting with everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location means local amenities are a short drive away in Kielder or if you need more then Jedburgh and Hawick are a little further. Great walks to be had along the river and Harvey's bridge provides fantastic views over Liddle water source and the surrounding hills. Welcome hamper was very much appreciated. The sound of the river and the wildlife is all we heard. The garden is well kept and is frequented by an array of finches, we even had a visit from a heron. We will return but this time for longer. A week is normally enough but there is so much to drink up from this cottage and its area that we were sorry to have to leave."
